Since April 2025, every eligible Singapore household can claim S$400 in Climate Vouchers on RedeemSG via Singpass. You can spend it on energy- and water-efficient household items, including direct current (DC) ceiling fans. The voucher is redeemed in-store only at NEA-participating retailers. Hai Guan Seng is one of them.
DC only. AC fans don't qualify.
The scheme is about energy efficiency. DC motors use roughly half the electricity of an equivalent AC motor, so NEA limits Climate Voucher eligibility to DC. Our entire ceiling fan range is DC.

Sign in with Singpass at go.gov.sg/climatevouchers. Households get S$400 instantly.

Visit 31 Kelantan Lane, 10 minutes from Jalan Besar MRT (DT22). Public carpark in the vicinity.

Which ceiling fans at Hai Guan Seng qualify for the Climate Voucher?+
All of them. Our entire range is DC motor across KDK, Fanco, Crestar, Bestar, Alaska, Acorn, Decco, Mowe, Point One and Spin. The Climate Voucher scheme only covers DC fans, and that's all we stock.
Can the $400 voucher cover the full cost?+
Yes for several entry and mid-tier DC fans. Fanco B-Star from S$199, Fanco Tributo at S$268, KDK W56WV at S$368 all come in under S$400 and are fully covered. For larger fans in the S$500 to S$900 range, the voucher covers S$400 and you pay the difference at the counter.
Does the voucher cover installation?+
The Climate Voucher applies to the product itself. For installation, most of our fan packages already cover the basic installation cost. Some setups may require extras depending on ceiling height, drop rod extension or wiring work. WhatsApp us your flat type and ceiling height and we'll give you a clear quote before you commit.
