What you can buy with CDC Vouchers
Unlike the Climate Voucher (DC ceiling fans only), CDC Vouchers work on everything we sell. Use them across any of these:
$400 Climate Voucher + your CDC Vouchers = near-zero out of pocket.
On a DC ceiling fan we apply your NEA Climate Voucher first (it’s the stricter, fan-only scheme), then your CDC Vouchers cover the rest of the basket — the light kit, switches, bulbs and drop rod. Many whole-flat baskets ring up at almost nothing.

What is the CDC Voucher scheme?
CDC Vouchers are a Singapore Government scheme run by the five Community Development Councils. Every Singaporean household can claim them through RedeemSG on Singpass at go.gov.sg/cdcv, and spend them at participating heartland merchants, hawkers and supermarkets. There's no product whitelist for merchants like us, so the vouchers work on anything we sell.
Can I use CDC Vouchers at Hai Guan Seng?
Yes. Hai Guan Seng is an approved CDC participating merchant at 31 Kelantan Lane #01-10/14, Jalan Besar (three minutes from Farrer Park MRT). You'll see the CDC decal on our shopfront. Show your CDC Voucher QR on Singpass / RedeemSG at the counter and we scan it on the spot.
What can I buy with my CDC Vouchers here?
Anything we stock — DC and AC ceiling fans, LED lighting, switches and sockets, electrical cable and wiring, and small appliances. From a S$4 LED bulb to a S$1,200 ceiling fan, every item is CDC-eligible. Unlike the NEA Climate Voucher, CDC Vouchers have no product whitelist.
Can I use CDC Vouchers on a ceiling fan?
Yes — on any ceiling fan, AC or DC. If it's a DC fan, you can stack the S$400 NEA Climate Voucher first (it covers the fan), then put your CDC Vouchers toward the rest of your basket — lights, switches, the drop rod — so the out-of-pocket can be very low.
Can I use CDC Vouchers from a different CDC district?
Yes. All five CDCs (Central, North East, North West, South East, South West) issue the same voucher format and are interchangeable at participating merchants nationally. You don't need to live in the Central Singapore CDC area to spend with us.
Can I split one purchase across CDC Vouchers, Climate Voucher and cash?
Yes. We process them in sequence at the counter: Climate Voucher first (if you're buying an eligible DC fan), then CDC Vouchers, then any payment method for the remainder — PayNow, GrabPay, card or cash.
How do I claim my CDC Vouchers?
Log in with Singpass at go.gov.sg/cdcv on RedeemSG. Each eligible household member can claim the household's vouchers; the QR appears in the app for you to show at the counter.
When do CDC Vouchers expire?
Each tranche has its own expiry — usually around 12 months from issuance. Check RedeemSG, where the expiry is printed next to each voucher tile. If you're holding a balance and unsure what to spend it on, ceiling fans and LED lighting are safe big-ticket categories.
Does the CDC Voucher cover installation?
No. Both CDC Vouchers and the Climate Voucher cover the product only. Installation is invoiced separately by our licensed installer team and can be booked for HDB, condo or landed homes.
